Welcome to The BETM Seating Chart!
This is the beginning of the help page. To be honest, I think everything is intuitive enough without needing a help section.

## General Info:
# If you are not using the most current versions of your browsers, you are doing yourself a disservice. This site works with the most current versions of IE and Firefox. And except as stated below, it also works fine with Safari, Opera and Chrome
# Once you have entered a seat, you can not edit anything but the comments. In other words, if you select the wrong date or the wrong seat, you need to delete it and start over.
# When you use the "Next Day/Prev Day" buttons, the date changes everywhere but in the drop down calendar; it stays at whatever date it was at when it was last opened. Not sure if this will ever change as it involves more hacking than I want to do, and really does not affect anything.
# The site is designed to display properly down to about 800px wide. Much narrower than that and some of the boxes overlap each other. However, at 800 x 600, you will have to scroll horizontally to see part of the right hand side. At 1024 x 768, you should have no problem seeing everything on the screen horizontally without scrolling.
# You may occasionally see a name followed by a *. These are "managed" users, seats that have been added for people by an "Event Manager".

## About Printing:
# You may print charts from any screen, but the best results will come with using the "Printer Friendly Page" or "Print This Page" links. Right now the Printer Friendly printout does not include comments, but will have a comments option at a later time.
# When you go to print the charts you MUST have print backgrounds/colors (or however your browser words it) selected!
In Firefox this is done by going to the File menu, select Page Setup, and then making sure that "Print Background (colors & images)" is checked.
In IE this is done by going to File, Page Setup and then making sure "Print Background Colors and Images" is checked.
# In some cases, you may want to use your browser's print options to make the page fit on one sheet of paper.
# Safari for Windows does not seem to have an option to print backgrounds and background colors. So the printouts will not work.
# Same with Google Chrome. (Why did Google think the world needed another browser?)
# Opera has other issues with the printouts. Very odd!
# I have discovered that my printer, at least, does not print the colors as distinctly as I would like. Nowt to be done about it. Your printer might do better.

## About the color-coding:
# I promise that all of the colors for the color-coding are unique, until you reach 49 or so, then they start to repeat. But the reality is that there are only maybe 16 easily distinguishable colors, and maybe another 16 if you have a well tuned monitor. After that, not so easy to see the variations in colors. Colors are assigned in order of how the seats load onto the page, so they will change each time a seat is added or deleted. There is no real effective way to assign colors to individuals that remain the same all the time. Sorry.

#Special thanks to bobz (double-thanks), johnnyc and freebird for their help.

# Let me know if you come up with other questions or problems.
